Quality Assurance Specialist

The FCP Euro Quality Assurance Specialist has overall responsibility and accountability for internal quality policy, process and performance across all functions (accuracy rate, physical audit, process compliance, error correction, documentation) within the Distribution Center. Ensures quality initiatives, audit activities and error reconciliation are actively managed and tracked to ensure desired accuracy levels are achieved and maintained. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Specialist will have responsibility for developing and implementing strategies, and the operational capability to deliver scalable, innovative solutions and improvements to drive results. This includes overall responsibility and accountability for internal accuracy rates, error trends, process improvement, and ZenDesk (error ticketing system) management.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will also be responsible for providing formal updates and recommendations regarding progress, challenges and opportunities to all DC Managers and Teams to actively drive improvement.

  • Develop, Implement and Manage the DC Quality Assurance Program and Supporting Initiatives

  • Execute internal audit of processes and functions to ensure compliance with quality standards and process guidelines

  • Track and Catalog internal audit findings by department and functional area to measure performance

  • Proactively communicate internally with key stakeholders and management concerning quality issues, improvement initiatives, and overall performance

  • Provide actionable recommendations for improvement derived from internal audit observations

  • Provide leadership and direct support to QA initiatives such as Process Documentation, Training, Audits and Employee Performance Evaluation

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop, Implement and Manage the DC Quality Assurance Program and SupportingInitiatives

Responsible for developing, managing and administering all elements of the FCP Euro Distribution Center QA Program. This includes but is not limited to the physical audit process, schedule, goals, communication and continuous improvement initiatives required to support the program. Ensures audit schedule and resources are properly integrated into the operation to administer all required initiatives. Goal is to achieve desired accuracy rate of 99.5% across all DC functions.

Execute internal audit of processes and functions to ensure compliance with quality standards and process guidelines

Responsible for the coordination and execution of all daily DC physical and process audits in alignment with set schedule, sample size and cadence. Identifies, corrects and records all process errors and variances found during process, working with Managers and supporting team members to ensure real time review and coaching. Ensures proper planning to ensure continuity of QA function.

Track and Catalog internal audit findings by department and functional area to measure performance

Responsible for creating and maintaining cloud based QA tracking system and dashboard to catalog, record and display real time performance vs budget across DC roles and functions. Tracking system integrates with associated DC systems and provides employee and department level performance reporting.

Proactively communicate internally with key stakeholders and management concerning quality issues, improvement initiatives, and overall performance

Responsible for maintaining consistent, formal communication rhythm with all DC managers, department heads and supporting leads regarding QA audit findings and results. Offers clear updates and insight into both current and future QA initiatives as well as the overall performance of each functional area vs budget. Actively participates in DC Management huddles, providing feedback and all relevant updates.

Provide actionable recommendations and support for all process and performance improvement derived from internal audit observations, audit results Service Error Inquiries

Responsible for providing timely and actionable feedback with supporting recommendations to DC management and teams to improve overall performance. Delegates and supports action items effectively to ensure recommendations are executed against in order to drive results. Accountable for overall implementation effectiveness of QA recommendations as well as the management systems needed to monitor team performance and progress.

Champion DC process improvement culture and activities across all teams and functional areas

Responsible for the adaptation and integration of the QA vision into the DC operation and team culture. Provides leadership and direct support for all QA initiatives while serving as the internal champion for all things quality throughout the DC and all related areas

Compensation

The FCP Euro Quality Assurance Specialist position offers a salary range of $45,000 to $60,000 depending on professional experience.
